Organic Gardening Course by Tim Foster
Each year, between January and June, we will be running our annual Organic and Allotment Gardening Course for those who want to learn how to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
This course — the best of its kind in Bristol — has been running for over 20 years and is designed with a great mixture of theory and practice.
Horticulture teacher and author Tim Foster shares his knowledge and skills, from pruning to sowing, pests to composting, rotations to companion planting and much more.

Each session consists of approximately two hours of theory in the Community Room on Wednesday evenings and practical sessions on nearby allotments on selected Saturday mornings.
Applications for the 2026 course will open in autumn 2025.
The fee for the 2025 course was £290 (full income) / £240 (low waged).
